Hi there, my name is Dwayne, but most call me "Dewey". I'm a web designer, developer, and writer. I'm 31 years old, and I live in Seattle,WA with my wife, two increasingly independent and not so little anymore girls, and a chocolate lab named Kahlua. I'm a pretty smart, down-to-earth guy(born and raised in Indiana), trying to change the world through the power of design and code. Maybe that sounds a little hippyish, but, I'm OK with that. I work really hard. I expect a lot of the peeps I work with. That being said, I love to laugh and do it quite often. I try and realize that life outside of photoshop or a text editor is what matters the most. I love collaboration. I stay up way too late for someone that gets up as early as I do. I'm restless, but rarely bored. I'm a thinker and a doer. I believe in the power of ideas. I work locally and think globally. I understand that I'm expected to teach as much as I am to learn. I always look to get better. I love beer and food;it's even better shared with family and friends.

FUN FACTS

  • I speak albanian,french, and vietnamese really badly and only know a few words.

  • I speak spanish a bit better, but I'm still learning.

  • I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2007(You'll be more impressed when you see me and my gorilla like physique).

  • I'm originally from South Bend, Indiana, home of the fighting Irish of Notre Dame(Yes I do bleed, blue and gold. If you're a Michigan Fan, I can't work with you)

  • One of my favorite movies of all time is "Casablanca".
